Good Friday.

We went for a bike ride, to get the muscles working and to distract ourselves from the excitement of flying out on Sunday.

Long Service Leave

Well only a couple of days to go before holidays. I will then be on long service leave for all of term 2. Shayne and I are travelling to France and UK for three months. My first European holiday ever, everything will be new and exciting I am sure. I will keep you posted.

School time

Only one more week and it is school holidays again at the end of the second term. The upper school students are at Country Week.

Iluka NSW

This is the mighty Clarence River, in the northern rivers region of New South Wales. There are 60 kilometres of navigable waters inland from the mouth of the river at Iluka and Yamba on the coast. It is a haven for retirees and holiday makers alike, and I must say we are really enjoying our visit.

Coopernook State Forest

We spent a delightful couple of days driving around the forest, enjoying the sheer beauty of the forests, rocky escarpments and wandering along boardwalks in the rainforest. The waterfall was a real surprise.

Wow!! Is there anything more spectacular than a Sydney Harbour ferry steaming across the bay?

This was a great day.

Christmas Holidays

I am a grandmother again - another delightful little boy. It amazes me the depth of feeling a new baby can evoke.

I love having cuddles and he seems an easy baby to comfort. Hopefully he will grow up just like his brother.
